This is an opportunity for you to work together with all the users and interested parties to discuss our priorities, promote the use of the network and improve the services that they offer. They want to include as many representatives from across the community as they possibly can, from walking groups to canal societies, local businesses, boaters, boating groups, and everything in between. So, if you have an interest in any of our canals, rivers or towpaths they would love to see you there.
Members of staff from various regional teams, as well as some of their national colleagues will be attending the forum so whatever you would like to discuss, there will be someone that can help. There will also be tea, coffee and biscuits provided throughout the evening.
To try and make the best possible use of the time they have available and to make sure they have all the information needed to answer your enquiry properly, they would like to ask attendees to the forum to refrain from raising specific local issues and instead report these to their customer service team at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling them on 0303 040 4040.
This forum covers the central part of our region, including the Erewash Canal, Trent & Mersey Canal, River Soar and Ashby Canal. There will also be two other forums held for the north and southern areas in the region, and these can be found by following the links below.
North – Newark (River Witham, Fossdyke Canal, River Trent, Nottingham & Beeston Canal, Upper Trent)
Central – Leicester (Erewash Canal, Trent & Mersey Canal, River Soar and Ashby Canal)
Please register your interest before the 19th March 2020 to secure your place and for more information. They look forward to seeing you there!
