The Boat Safety Scheme (BSS) has decided to carry out an online survey of all Boat Owners. This survey will be live during March 2021. The purpose of the survey is to understand more about your opinions on some important issues related to boat ownership, safety as well as to collect ideas for what could be improved. For this research, we ask that you provide your honest opinions be they positive or negative.
The survey is currently being developed by the BSS. They have confirmed that the results will be analysed independently, and the findings of the research will be shared with Boat Owners before the Summer. We, The Boating Association will act as the go-between for the BSS and as such we will retain responsibility for contacting you about the survey.
We may send you a few emails between now and the survey’s launch to explain more about how the survey works. Your access to the survey will be provided to you through a link which we will be sent to you in March.
