Calor has confirmed that it is to discontinue five of its smaller canisters from the 1st of February.
The cylinders being discontinued are Calor’s Cube, 3.9kg Propane, 4.5kg Butane, 6Lite Propane and 12kg Butane cylinders.
Many boaters use these smaller cylinders and have no reasonable means of fitting larger sizes safely. The managers of the Boat Safety Scheme recognise the risks if these cylinders are not available and are engaging with Calor regarding this.
